Singer Sean announced his marathon challenge along with his severely wounded foot condition.
Sean shared an update on the 21st through his personal account, saying "Challenge of the world's seven major marathons. October 12, 2025, after finishing the sixth Chicago Marathon, the era of suffering for my left foot."
He said, "Left Achilles tendon, heel pain, hamstring and my left big toenail fell off again for the third time this year. Now it is not very surprising," and confessed, "the fourth left toenail fell off about a month ago and four are raised. Still, four of the 10 toenails are intact."
The photos released together showed the toenails missing and bruised feet as they were, making viewers feel sorry.
Sean said, "As long as I can run, each step I take is a step someone might want to change even if they gave up the whole world, so I run with a thankful heart," and conveyed his determination, "Adding the hope that my every step becomes a small hope for someone, 2025 challenge of the world's seven major marathons, now only one left! Nov. 2 New York Marathon, let's go!"
Meanwhile, Sean married actress Jung Hye-young in 2004 and has four children.
