The stage for "Happiness Is Difficult," one of the double title tracks from the full-length album "Called Love," which Jung Seung-hwan previewed at the country's representative festival Grand Mint Festival 2025 (hereinafter "GMF2025") held on the 18th, is drawing attention.
"Happiness Is Difficult" is a song that sings the longing for the happiness that love gave, and its retro city pop–based, mesmerizing resonance allows listeners to savor Jung Seung-hwan's deepened sensibility.
As proof of this, after the GMF2025 performance, numerous fancam videos of Jung Seung-hwan performing "Happiness Is Difficult" were uploaded to social media accounts including YouTube, raising anticipation for Jung Seung-hwan's full-length album to be released for the first time in about seven years.
Internet users who watched the preview video of "Happiness Is Difficult" left praise such as "It sounds different from the song styles Jung Seung-hwan has shown so far, so I'm looking forward to it," "the live is heartrending," "it's a song that hits my taste," "a Jung Seung-hwan–style ballad," "the more I listen, the better it is," and "the wait was worth it," praising what Jung Seung-hwan offers as the "essence of ballad."
"Called Love" contains a total of 10 tracks, including the double title tracks "Bangs" and "Happiness Is Difficult," and captures the memories named "love" that everyone keeps in a corner of their heart in each song.
