Webtoon author Ju Ho-min attended YouTuber KwakTube (Kwak Jun-bin)'s wedding with close friends Chimchakman (Lee Mal-nyeon) and Kim Poong, and shared an update on his recent activities.
Recently, Ju Ho-min shared his impressions of KwakTube's wedding during his YouTube Live Up to Your Name broadcast.
Recalling the wedding venue, he said, "Each table had a name. Our table was the 'pa-kimchi-gaeng' table. Me, Chimchakman, Kim Poong, Kid Milli, Dangun, Park Jeong-min, Tongcheon, 'Rakkon' PD writer, and Napoli Matpia were all at one table. It was nice to see everyone again after two to three years. I couldn't bring myself to ask, 'Aren't you going to film me?'" and smiled.
On the 20th, a video titled "My unbelievable wedding vlog" was also posted on KwakTube's channel. KwakTube held a wedding with a non-celebrity partner at a hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 11th.
In fact, the footage showed Ju Ho-min, Chimchakman and Kim Poong sitting side by side, which drew attention. In the long-awaited two-shot, internet users reacted, "Still together," and "It's proof of close friendship."
In 2022, Ju Ho-min reported a special education teacher on suspicion of abusing his son on the autism spectrum, but the appeals court acquitted the teacher, and the case has proceeded to the Supreme Court.
During the process, rumors of a rift spread when Ju Ho-min did not appear on Chimchakman's channel, but Ju Ho-min explained that they were "still close friends," saying, "I thought if I appeared it would only cause unnecessary commotion and benefit no one."
He added, "Chimchakman's channel is now approaching 3 million subscribers and is thriving without me appearing. In the past it was just my hobby; when it had 170,000 subscribers we shared the same studio and appeared on broadcasts for fun. Back then there was a modest goal like 'let's get to 1 million.' We eventually surpassed 1 million and now I feel I have done my part," he said, comparing it to a SpaceX booster rocket.
