On the 21st episode of the MBC variety show "Countryside Village Lee Jang-woo 2," Lee Jang-woo was shown making turnip kimchi.
That day Lee Jang-woo invited choreographer Kani to harvest turnips. Kani embarrassed Lee Jang-woo with an all-time high energy level, but soon used that energy as a driving force for work, leaving Lee Jang-woo impressed.
After harvesting the turnips, Lee Jang-woo and Kani visited the village hall and talked with the mothers. When asked how she met a Korean man, Kani explained, "I met him on an online app. You're mine." Lee Jang-woo revealed he is also getting married in November, and Kani said congratulations and asked to be invited. She showed enthusiastic intent to sing at the wedding as well.
Kani received a meal prepared by the mothers at the village hall. When asked whether the mother-in-law's kimchi or the kimchi eaten there was tastier, she unhesitatingly chose that kimchi and then apologized to the mother-in-law, saying she was sorry.
After finishing the day, Kani said, "It was a truly amazing day. It reminded me of my grandmother and aunt. I felt really warm. I was truly moved."
Lee Jang-woo told Kani, "It is so beautiful to see the person who danced with Beyoncé enjoy time with the mothers. I think meeting someone with good energy shares that energy. I'm grateful because I feel I received that energy."
