TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Yeonjun shows his own charm with the title track "Talk to You" from his first solo album.
Yeonjun posted the track list for mini album NO LABELS: PART 01 on TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai) official SNS at 12 a.m. on Nov. 21. The album includes six tracks in total, including the title track "Talk to You," "Forever," "Let Me Tell You (feat. Daniela of KATSEYE)," "Do It," "Nothin' Bout Me," and "Coma."
The title track sings of your powerful attraction toward me and the tension that blooms within it. In the hard rock genre, notable for its guitar riff, Yeonjun's rough vocals blend with lively drum sounds. Yeonjun participated in writing and composing the song, adding his own color and completing what can be called "Yeonjun core." He also contributed to the lyrics of five tracks except the English song "Forever," and is credited as a composer on "Nothin' Bout Me," showcasing his capabilities as a musician.
All six tracks on the new release are specialized for performance. The genres are diverse, ranging from hard rock to hip hop, R&B, old school hip hop, and hardcore hip hop. The prowess of Yeonjun, a leading K-pop dancer, is expected to shine.
"Forever" is a hip-hop track that combines concise rhythms with stylish electronic sounds and is expected to draw attention from music fans at home and abroad. In "Let Me Tell You (feat. Daniela of KATSEYE)," which pairs him with Daniela of global girl group KATSEYE, a fresh vocal combination is anticipated.
Songs that display individuality and confidence amplify Yeonjun's charm. "Do It" expresses Yeonjun's unique coolness that everyone wants to imitate. "Nothin' Bout Me" delivers a confident shout toward those who try to confine him, maximizing Yeonjun's characteristic rebellious charm. "Coma" contains the ambition to command the stage amid chaos and noise.
Yeonjun's first solo album NO LABELS: PART 01 will be released at 2 p.m. on Nov. 7. It is a work that strips away labels and descriptors to present Yeonjun himself. Drawing on his confidence in music, Yeonjun will hold pre-listening parties on Nov. 5–6 before the album release to let fans hear the new songs first.
