Mukbang YouTuber Tzuyang (real name Park Jeong-won) appeared as a witness at an upcoming National Assembly audit. Speaking out directly as a victim of a cyber wrecker, she appeared to have suffered greatly and showed tears, drawing sympathy.
According to the National Assembly Science. ICT. Broadcasting. and Communications Committee (Science. ICT. Broadcasting. and Communications Committee), a motion requesting the appearance of Tzuyang and her legal representative, attorney Kim Tae-yeon, as witnesses was submitted and is under discussion, and if approved, Tzuyang is expected to attend the audit held on Oct. 14 next month, the committee said. Tzuyang's side said, "Although it was a heavy personal burden, I decided to appear to provide social help from a preventive perspective so that the same harm does not recur," and she actually filled out the form. This is because Tzuyang is a victim of a cyber wrecker.
Tzuyang was a victim who last year was extorted of 55 million won after being threatened by YouTubers GuJae-yeok (real name Lee Jun-hee) and Jujakgambalsa (real name Jeon Guk-jin), who told her they had received tips alleging "personal life and tax evasion suspicions. If you give us money, we won't make it public." In this case, GuJae-yeok was sentenced to three years in prison, and Jujakgambalsa was sentenced to one year in prison with a three-year suspended sentence. Caracula, who was indicted as an accomplice, received a one-year prison sentence with a three-year suspended sentence and 240 hours of community service, and Crocodile was each fined 5 million won.
Meanwhile, Tzuyang recently joined the variety show "I don't know where it'll go" as a regular member alongside Ahn Jae-hyun, taking on a new challenge. Regarding this, on the YouTube channel Zzanbro, which aired on the 20th, Tzuyang said, "This is my first time being a regular on a variety show. Actually, I'm not funny at all. Even when I talk, I make it serious, so I had a lot of worries," she confessed.
In response, Shin Dong-yup said, "You don't need to be funny. Your presence itself is interesting, and just watching you eat brings happiness to people," offering warm words, and Tzuyang's eyes reddened upon hearing this. She honestly shared, "I usually hardly cry, but lately I've been more emotional. I sometimes cry when I'm alone," to which Shin Dong-yup comforted her, saying, "That's a good thing. After crying, your mind clears and you feel organized."
Netizens left comments supporting Tzuyang's courage and sincerity, saying, "She must have suffered so much…," "Thank you for bravely coming forward," and "I hope there are only reasons to smile from now on." Attention is focused on whether she, who has fought wounds for a long time, can lead change for herself and other victims with a strong voice again through this audit appearance.
