"Nice to Not Meet You" Kim Ji-hoon and Seo Ji-hye lead Sports Eunseong with contrasting charms.
The new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama Nice to Not Meet You, set to premiere on Nov. 3 (Mon) (directed by Kim Ga-ram, written by Jeong Yeo-rang, planned and produced by Studio Dragon, Studio & New, Artist Company), announced on the 21st the release of still cuts of Kim Ji-hoon and Seo Ji-hye, who will show a strong presence as the new president of Sports Eunseong, "Lee Jae-hyeong," and the entertainment department director general, "Yoon Hwa-young."
Nice to Not Meet You is a drama about a national actor who has lost his original passion and an entertainment reporter obsessed with achieving justice, featuring dis battles, fact bombardments and prejudice smashing. In the spectacular entertainment industry where sensational incidents break out daily, the animosity chemistry between a top star and an entertainment reporter entangled in a spiteful fate offers a fresh blend of relatable moments and thrills. Joining them are director Kim Ga-ram, who has worked across genres with Good Partner and Nevertheless, and writer Jeong Yeo-rang, who created a sensation with Doctor Cha, promising a distinctive kind of fun.
Above all, the synergy of Lee Jung-jae, Lim Ji-yeon, Kim Ji-hoon and Seo Ji-hye, who complete a lineup you can trust, cannot be overlooked. Following the spectacular animosity chemistry promised by Lee Jung-jae and Lim Ji-yeon, attention is focused on the performances of Kim Ji-hoon and Seo Ji-hye, who will add fun through their unusual relationships. Yoon Hwa-young's presence, marked by cool yet soft charisma, is also intriguing. With a keen instinct for landing scoops and delivering razor-sharp feedback to juniors while leading the entertainment department, Yoon Hwa-young holds the shining title of the youngest entertainment department director general. A career woman with both beauty and ability, she also possesses a persuasive, almost uncanny way with words. Just as she advanced steadily with flawless work ability, unexpected ripples occur when rookie entertainment reporter Wi Jeong-shin continually clashes with her and the bothersome new boss Lee Jae-hyeong appears.
Kim Ji-hoon said he chose the project because the script had a pleasant, harmless charm and he enjoyed reading it. He added that he looked forward to working on set with such excellent actors as Lee Jung-jae, Lim Ji-yeon and Seo Ji-hye. Saying he was excited to play a kind character after a long time, Kim Ji-hoon described "Lee Jae-hyeong" as someone who has everything from ability to family background and looks, but who is sweet and straightforward toward one woman. He said the character's personality is revealed a lot through wardrobe, so he paid attention to capturing the charm of a classic suit while expressing a luxurious and witty feel. Seo Ji-hye, who felt vividness in the script, said, When I first read the script, the individuality and personality of each character felt very distinct.
