Lee Chae-min rose to No. 1 in actor brand reputation, surpassing prominent senior actors such as Jo Woo-jin and Lee Byung-hun.
On Oct. 21, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute said its big-data analysis of actor brand reputation for October 2025 ranked Lee Chae-min first, Jo Woo-jin second and Lee Byung-hun third.
The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute measured 186,695,012 pieces of brand big data for 100 actors appearing in drama, films and OTTs that aired from Sept. 21 through Oct. 21, and indexed them with a brand reputation algorithm by measuring consumer brand engagement, media volume, communication volume and community volume. Compared with 144,869,968 pieces of actor brand big data in Sept., this was a 28.87% increase.
Actor brand reputation analysis expanded big-data analysis of actors as their areas of activity broadened with the growth of the OTT market. It is a big-data analysis that integrates film actors and drama actors active not only in film and broadcast media but also in web media.
Actor brand reputation analysis analyzed brand big data using engagement index, media index, communication index and community index. The brand reputation index extracts brand big data and analyzes consumer behavior with a reputation analysis algorithm to classify it into engagement value, communication value, media value, community value and social value and weights them to produce the indicator.
Brand big-data analysis can measure positive and negative evaluations of brands, the source and level of interest of media, consumers' interest and communication volume, community spread of issues, and reactions to and popularity of content.
The top 30 actor brand reputations for October 2025 were Lee Chae-min, Jo Woo-jin, Lee Byung-hun, Lee Young-ae, Kim Goeun, Kim Young-kwang, Shin Ye Eun, Heo Nam-jun, Jun Ji-hyun, Kim Da-mi, Kim Gun-woo, Jang Dong-yoon, Han Seok-kyu, Go Hyun-jung, Song Joong-ki, Park Jung-min, Choi Yu-ri, Kang Han-na, Rowoon, Im Yoon-a, Ma Dong-seok, Son Ye-jin, Gang Dong-won, Uhm Jung-hwa, Song Seung-heon, Park Gyu-young, Lee Re, Shin Hyun-bin, Go Youn-jung and Yoon Seo-ah.
The Lee Chae-min brand, ranked No. 1 in actor brand reputation, had an engagement index of 1,750,849, a media index of 1,697,554, a communication index of 2,408,982 and a community index of 1,437,806, producing a brand reputation index of 7,295,191.
The No. 2 Jo Woo-jin brand had an engagement index of 967,558, a media index of 1,081,071, a communication index of 1,627,514 and a community index of 1,639,178, producing a brand reputation index of 5,315,321.
The No. 3 Lee Byung-hun brand had an engagement index of 895,550, a media index of 1,056,530, a communication index of 1,556,770 and a community index of 1,295,859, producing a brand reputation index of 4,804,708.
The No. 4 Lee Young-ae brand had an engagement index of 1,149,813, a media index of 1,181,302, a communication index of 1,082,666 and a community index of 1,236,679, producing a brand reputation index of 4,650,460.
The No. 5 Kim Goeun brand had an engagement index of 1,038,163, a media index of 1,050,757, a communication index of 965,749 and a community index of 1,281,571, producing a brand reputation index of 4,336,239.
Regarding this, Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, said, "In the Oct. 2025 actor brand reputation analysis, the Lee Chae-min brand ranked No. 1. Analyzing the actor brand category, compared with 144,869,968 pieces of actor brand big data in Sept., this is a 28.87% increase. In detailed analysis, brand consumption rose 21.48%, brand issues rose 24.02%, brand communication rose 47.30% and brand spread rose 24.85%."
He added, "The Lee Chae-min brand rose to No. 1 through the drama "Bon Appetit, Your Majesty." The Jo Woo-jin brand, praised for creating various colors in films that concentrated consumers' interest, ranked No. 2, and the Lee Byung-hun brand, who became a national-level actor who answers everything with his acting ability, ranked No. 3."
