The group's NMIXX (NMIXX) new song 'Blue Valentine' (Blue Valentine) has taken No. 1 on the Melon Top 100 chart.
NMIXX is sweeping major domestic digital music and album charts with their full-length album Blue Valentine, released on Oct. 13, and the title track of the same name. The title track "Blue Valentine" reached the pinnacle of the Melon Top 100 chart on music sites at 11 p.m. on Oct. 20. This set a career high just 23 hours after reaching No. 2 based on standings at 12 a.m. the same day, and surpassed the long-reigning chart-topper, the Netflix KPop Demon Hunters OST "Golden," proving the public's hot interest in the new song.
The title track, which entered Melon's daily chart at No. 85 on Oct. 13, continued its rapid rise by reaching No. 10 on the daily chart on Oct. 19, and it is rising in popularity, reaching No. 1 on Bugs' daily chart on Oct. 19 and No. 2 on the weekly chart (Oct. 13, 2025–Oct. 19, 2025). The new release also led album success by topping the weekly album chart on Hanteo Chart (Oct. 13, 2025–Oct. 19, 2025).
Since their debut single "AD MARE" (AD MARE), they have shown solid vocal skills, performance and a unique musical worldview in every release, and this new work is receiving more enthusiastic responses than ever. The new release depicts the inevitable conflicts with loved ones and the mixed emotions of love. The title track has earned the descriptor "an autumn carol" from listeners for its wistful mood that suits the season, its swelling chorus melody and the six members' harmonious vocals.
From Oct. 16 to Oct. 19, they appeared on Mnet's "M Countdown," KBS 2TV's "Music Bank," MBC's "Show! Music Core" and SBS' "Inkigayo," presenting stages for the title track "Blue Valentine" and the album track "SPINNIN' ON IT" (SPINNIN' ON IT) to cap their comeback week. K-pop fans have responded positively to NMIXX, showing live skills that prove their title as a "hexagonal girl group," saying, "I want to spread the word so more people see this great song and great stage," and "I can't get out of the stage videos."
Carrying the comeback momentum, they will open their debut world tour "EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER" (Episode 1: Zero Frontier) at Incheon Inspire Arena on Nov. 29 and 30. Attention is focused on their activities in the first solo concert under the group's name and the tour to follow, coming about 3 years and 9 months after their debut.
