Annie of the group "All Day Project" has been selected as a host for the year-end "MBC Gayo Daejejeon."
According to the music industry on the 21st, Annie will serve as MC for the "2025 MBC Gayo Daejejeon," which airs on Dec. 31.
Annie is the eldest daughter of Shinsegae Chair Lee Jeong-yong and the granddaughter of Shinsegae general chair Lee Myung-hee. She drew attention as a "chaebol idol" when she debuted with the five-member coed group All Day Project.
All Day Project, to which Annie belongs, emerged as a monster rookie by debuting in June and simultaneously taking No. 1 on major domestic music sites and music shows with the double title tracks "FAMOUS" and "WICKED."
"MBC Gayo Daejejeon" is MBC's flagship music program that airs every Dec. 31. Over the past 10 years, Girls' Generation member and actor Yoona has hosted the show. Annie will take over from Yoona, who stepped down after last year.
Annie has not engaged in solo activities or hosted a music show so far. As a result, fans' expectations are rising over what she will show at this "Gayo Daejejeon."
