It has become a hot topic that rookie actor Han Gaeul (25, real name Hwang Gaeul) is the niece of actor Won Bin (48, real name Kim Do-jin).
According to Han Gaeul's agency Story J Company on the 21st, Han is the daughter of Won Bin's older sister. Won Bin is the youngest of five siblings, with three older sisters and an older brother.
Han Gaeul is said to have not received help from her maternal uncle, Won Bin, during her debut process.
Han Gaeul stepped into the entertainment industry in 2022 by appearing in singer Nam Young-joo's music video for "Again, Dream." She is currently playing intern Jang Yejin on the Maron Confectionery marketing team in the MBC Friday-Saturday drama To the Moon.
Won Bin debuted in 1997 by appearing in the KBS2 drama "Propose." He appeared in the dramas "Kkokji" and "Autumn in My Heart," and the films "Guns & Talks," "Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War," "My Brother," and "Mother." Since the 2010 film The Man from Nowhere, Won Bin has not acted for 15 years and has shared updates only through commercials. He married actor Lee Na-young in May 2015, and they had a son in December that year.
