Former rhythmic gymnastics national team member Son Yeon-jae enjoyed a luxury hotel staycation.
On the 20th, a video titled "VLOG don't look for me… Yeon-jae who left home's dreamlike one night" was uploaded to Son Yeon-jae's YouTube channel.
That day Son Yeon-jae appeared excited, saying, "Everyone, I finally came alone for a hotel staycation today. I'm so excited." She said, "It seems like I haven't slept alone in a hotel once in the past three years. In the past I spent a lot of time in hotels because of competitions, and I used to do it while working, but this is the first time," and greeted her husband, "Oppa, thank you!"
Then Son Yeon-jae, saying, "I mustn't enjoy it too much. I'll enjoy it moderately," went into the room and happily noted, "They even wrote a letter asking me to take a relaxing rest, away for a while from the busy rhythm of daily life and childcare. It's so sweet."
Also, while looking at the 'city view' scenery she said, "I like natural views too, but personally I like Gwanghwamun so much that you can see the night view. There's also a shower and you can bathe while looking at the night view," expressing satisfaction.
Son Yeon-jae said, "I tried writing a bucket list," and noted, "I want to explore Seochon, I want to take an instant photo booth picture by myself, and my goal for today is to play games all night."
Coming out first to explore Seochon, Son Yeon-jae said, "It's a miracle that I'm outside at this time in this weather," and visited a props shop, saying, "I like small, decorative things. I came to visit a shop where you can feel Paris." She said, "I'm going to really spend money now," and launched into a shopping spree, then stopped by a cafe and took self-photos in a photo booth.
Back at the hotel, Son Yeon-jae played games on the PlayStation she brought and ordered lobster and chicken via room service. After gaming until dawn and falling asleep, she said, "I had a good time. My eyes are swollen. I slept so well. Returning to childcare now," and added, "The hotel staycation was fun."
Meanwhile, Son Yeon-jae married a financial professional nine years her senior in 2022 and has a son. In particular, it drew attention when it was revealed she bought a standalone house in Itaewon worth 7.2 billion won entirely in cash.
