A wedding rush continues in November. More than eight entertainers will hold wedding ceremonies and join the ranks of married women and men.
On the 20th, actress Park Jin-Ju announced her marriage. That day, Park Jin-Ju's agency, PrainTPC, said, "We sincerely thank everyone who has always cherished and loved actress Park Jin-Ju, and we have happy news to share."
According to the agency, Park Jin-Ju will marry a non-celebrity with whom she has built a deep trust over a long period on Nov. 30. The agency said, "The wedding will be held privately at a location in Seoul with family members from both sides and close acquaintances in attendance. As the prospective spouse is a non-celebrity, we ask for your understanding that the ceremony will be held quietly."
Actress Bang Min-Ah and On Juwan will also hold a wedding in November. Bang Min-Ah earlier announced her marriage to On Juwan in July. At the time she said, "I cautiously ask for understanding from those who may have been surprised by the sudden news," expressing her feelings about the marriage announcement. She added, "I sincerely thank everyone who warmly congratulated us. I am now quietly preparing for a new season," revealing her excitement. Bang Min-Ah added, "I will keep those feelings in my heart for a long time and walk my path slowly and firmly. I am happy."
On Juwan and Bang Min-Ah first met in the 2016 SBS drama "Beautiful Gong Shim." They grew closer after appearing together in the 2021 musical "That Day," and their relationship developed into a romance that culminated in marriage. According to both agencies, the two will hold a private ceremony in November inviting only family members from both sides and close acquaintances.
Kim Ok-Bin will marry a non-celebrity. Ghost Studio announced on the 1st in an official statement that "actress Kim Ok-Bin will meet a precious partner and pledge a lifelong union on Nov. 16," announcing the marriage news.
The prospective groom is a non-celebrity, and the wedding will be held privately with only close relatives and friends from both families invited. The agency said, "We ask for your understanding that it is difficult to disclose specific details such as the exact place and time out of consideration for the non-celebrity groom and both families."
Ham Eun-Jung surprised everyone by announcing on the 16th that she will marry director Kim Byung-Woo in November. Her agency, Mask Studio, issued an official statement saying, "Actress Ham Eun-Jung has promised to share her life journey with a precious partner in November," announcing the marriage.
The prospective groom is director Kim Byung-Woo, who is eight years her senior. He directed and wrote the films PMC: The Bunker and Omniscient Reader: The Prophet, and he also directed the Netflix film The Great Flood, which will be released on Dec. 19. The two met through acquaintances in the film industry, continued their relationship, developed into lovers, and ultimately tied the knot. The wedding will be held privately with family, relatives and close acquaintances from both sides in attendance.
Although sudden marriage announcements led to suspicions of premarital pregnancy, OSEN reporting confirmed that was not the case. It was because both families hoped the wedding would not be delayed beyond this year.
