Actor Lee Jang-woo revealed behind-the-scenes stories as he prepares to marry actress Jo Hye-won in November.
On the 19th, Lee Jang-woo, who appeared on the SBS variety show My Little Old Boy, met with actor Yoon Shi-yoon and broadcaster Jung Joon-ha to talk.
That day, Lee Jang-woo confessed about his first meeting with Jo Hye-won: "Hye-won appeared as an extra in the drama where I was the lead and she shone. I wondered, 'Who would be that woman's boyfriend?' I felt I should find out, so I made a move."
Lee Jang-woo said, "I wanted to ask for her contact information, but she finished filming and left. I searched her social media accounts and contacted her first, saying thank you for appearing in the drama and that I wanted to buy her a meal. Then I immediately asked if she had a boyfriend."
He went on to mention how their relationship developed: "She replied two days later. She said she didn't have a boyfriend, so I immediately gave her my phone number."
In response, Jung Joon-ha asked, "Did you propose?" and Lee Jang-woo sighed and said, "Help me." Lee Jang-woo also said the wedding emcee and celebratory singer have been decided. He said, "The emcee will be Kian84, and the celebratory singer will be Hwanhee, who is also a cousin."
Meanwhile, Lee Jang-woo will hold his wedding with Jo Hye-won, who is eight years younger, on Nov. 23. The two met on the KBS 2TV drama One and Only and began dating publicly in 2023.
