Yang Hyun-suk kept his promise.
YG Entertainment said on Oct. 20 that BLACKPINK will begin shooting the music video for their new song this week and that all members and staff will do their best through the remaining schedule to deliver the best possible result.
A representative said, "We thank the fans who have been waiting for BLACKPINK's comeback. The album is in its final stages to enhance its musical completeness. As soon as preparations are finished, we will make efforts to share good news through official promotions."
As YG's chief producer, Yang Hyun-suk has kept the words he once said. In a video posted on his YouTube channel on Aug. 18, Yang Hyun-suk said, "BLACKPINK members and the producers in charge are preparing diligently. There is an opinion that it would be good if the album came out in November. We will strive so that you can meet BLACKPINK's album soon."
Thanks to his determination, BLACKPINK members' passion for their comeback and the confidence of YG Entertainment staff, a November comeback has been achieved. With this, BLACKPINK is aiming once again at domestic and international music fans with high-quality new songs before the year ends, following July's "How You Like That." <
