Kim Byung-man expressed gratitude to his wife for caring for his father.
The Feb. 20 broadcast of TV Chosun's "Chosun's romantic" reported on the current situation of Kim Byung-man and his wife.
Kim Byung-man's wife said, "Even without Kim Byung-man, I got along well with mother. Since I like my older brother, I naturally thought I should also be good to my parents. When I was very busy, father was in the hospital," saying she was close with her parents even in daily life, and Kim Byung-man added, "He was stage 4 colon cancer and also had dementia. After the surgery, more than half of father's memory was gone."
His wife explained at the time, "Mother was caring for him at her side. Since mother must have been exhausted, I would go after work and eat outside with her to lift her spirits. On my days off, when I stayed there, father would ask. Why isn't Byung-man coming? I put on a rerun of Gag Concert, but even when he saw my older brother he didn't remember him."
His wife said, "Father suddenly disappeared, so I was on air and also called mother. I ran around like crazy looking for him. He went (there) to see Kim Byung-man," and Kim Byung-man expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you. There's no expression beyond savior."
