The Bitna Foundation, established by the family of SHINee member the late Jonghyun, prepared a busking stage for artists.
The public corporation Bitna Foundation (chairperson Lee Eun-kyung) will hold "HELLO DAY: Busking," introducing teenage and young adult artists, at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Mulbit stage in Yeouido Hangang Park in Seoul.
"HELLO DAY" is a performance hosted by the public corporation Bitna Foundation, a nonprofit foundation established by the family of the late SHINee member Jonghyun, marking its third year since 2023. Since its founding in 2018, the public corporation Bitna Foundation has continued various public interest activities, including psychological counseling and support for artists.
The late Jonghyun's sister and Bitna secretary-general Kim So-dam said, "The foundation Bitna, established based on Jonghyun's copyright royalties, now aims to be a 'light' that illuminates young artists. Through HELLO DAY, a 'first meeting stage' where artists and audiences greet and get to know each other, we hope to connect warmly with more people going forward."
Comedian and actor Kim Ki-ri will host the performance. Kim will introduce the young artists taking the stage to the audience with his unique sensibility that blends humor and sincerity, and he is expected to lead the overall atmosphere of the performance in a warm and lively way.
Students from schools supported by the Bitna Foundation, young artists and special guests will participate. The program will feature students from Seoul Practical Music High School and Hanlim Arts High School, sorikkun Han Seo-rin, the band Vinchae that will fill the stage with sound, Shin Seol-hee, Ju Loki, and singer-songwriters Park Pil-gyu and Han Hee-jun, among a variety of young artists.
In particular, R&B vocalist Bumkey, loved for multiple hit songs including "Gatgo Nollae," "Michin Yeonae" and "Yeogijeogigeogi," will appear as a special guest to enhance the completeness of the stage.
The performance is free for anyone to attend. On-site, Hello Moment (photo booth) will also be operated free of charge.
