The brand film of the group ILLIT won two awards at Japan's largest creative awards ceremony, the 2025 ACC Tokyo Creativity Awards (ACC TOKYO CREATIVITY AWARDS).
On Oct. 20, according to HYBE Music Group label Belift Lab, ILLIT (Yuna, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha)'s mini 2nd album 'I'LL LIKE YOU' and mini 3rd album 'bomb' (bam)'s brand films won the gold and bronze respectively in the film craft category at the awards.
Now in its 65th year, the ACC Tokyo Creativity Awards is so respected in Japan's advertising and creative industry that it is called "Japan's Cannes Lions." It evaluates creative and innovative works across advertising, media, design, public relations and other fields and selects prize winners.
ILLIT's brand films are core content that convey the message they want to deliver with each album and show the team's identity. The mini 2nd album brand film that won the gold captured the members' enterprising will honestly—"we will continue on our own path"—with fresh visuals that cross reality and fantasy, and received strong response from global fans when released.
The mini 3rd album brand film that won the bronze tells ILLIT's sincere story by reinterpreting magical girls with a sensuous atmosphere. It is also the music video for the track "little monster." The original direction using detailed art props and miniature sets added to the viewing pleasure, and the message "let's awaken the magic called the potential sleeping inside and move forward" offered warm comfort to viewers.
This video recently also received a silver in the production design category for music videos at Germany's 2025 Ciclope Awards (CICLOPE Awards) in recognition of its visual completeness and artistic quality. ILLIT's works drawing attention at global film festivals and creative awards rather than just music award shows has been noteworthy.
Meanwhile, ILLIT will return with a new album in November. They will also hold the fan concert "2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY ENCORE" for two days, Nov. 8-9, at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, meeting GLLIT (Glit, the fandom name). Following "GLITTER DAY" events held earlier in Korea and Japan, ILLIT sold out the encore performance as well, proving strong ticket power.
