Group KARD member BM delivers a musical fantasy.
BM will release his second EP PO:INT at 6 p.m. today (20) on various music sites.
The title track "Freak (feat. B.I)" is based on the amapiano genre, with dreamy pluck sounds and flute samples over upbeat drums that leave an afterglow as if drifting in a fantasy. On a dangerous and alluring night where reality and fantasy intersect, BM's lethal fantasy unfolds amid sensual melodies and an irresistible temptation that seeps in.
Notably, BM participated directly in the songwriting, composition and arrangement, showcasing his further evolved musical capabilities. B.I will provide a feature for added support, promising the best synergy.
In the music video released with the track, BM checks in at "THE FREAKY HOTEL" and the full story begins. BM is captivated at first sight by a hotelier he meets at the lobby counter and continues a "FREAKY FANTASY" with her.
In addition, PO:INT includes six tracks in total: "Ooh," which summons 2000s R&B sentiment with a structure that pays homage to 50 Cent's "P.I.M.P.;" "View," which fills a sophisticated groove with a romantic confession of love; "Move," which expresses the endless temptation of the night with an addictive house rhythm; "Stay Mad," which contains BM's clear identity with the message "No one can stop me"; and "Freak (feat. B.I) (Inst.)," the instrumental version of the title track.
PO:INT is BM's new EP about 1 year and 5 months after his first EP Element released in May last year. As executive producer, BM led the album work and captured his most honest and bold confessions on the border between ecstasy and ruin. Through PO:INT, he reveals a destructive yet alluring duality across various genres: sensual temptation over upbeat rhythms, heated tension that stimulates retro sensibilities, excitement and confessions toward his muse, dreamlike moments created by endless stimulation, and intense energy that declares his identity.
