Actor Yoo Yeon-seok hinted at legal action over invasions of privacy, including visits to his residence.
On Oct. 20, his agency King Kong by Starship opened its statement by thanking fans for their interest and love for the artist Yoo Yeon-seok.
It added that cases of privacy invasion, such as unauthorized visits to the artist's residence and private spaces, or delivering parcels or letters, have continued to occur.
The agency warned that it would take stern legal action against all forms of privacy invasion, saying, "To protect the artist's private life and prevent harm, the company will take strict legal measures against any acts of privacy invasion, including visiting the artist's residence, intruding into private spaces, tracking unofficial schedules and leaking personal information."
The agency also explained, "Please send gifts and fan letters to the company, and note that items delivered to other locations may be returned or discarded."
The agency promised, "We are always grateful to the fans who sincerely support our artist Yoo Yeon-seok, and we ask fans to exercise restraint and cooperate to protect the artist's safety and rights. The company will continue to do its best to protect our artist."
Meanwhile, before Yoo Yeon-seok, fellow agency actor Lee Dong-wook issued a notice responding to invasions of privacy.
