"Sea Across House On Wheels: Hokkaido edition" actress Jang Nara praised the taste of the iron-plate beef steak prepared by Seong Dong-il.
The episode of tvN "Sea Across House On Wheels: Hokkaido edition" that aired on Oct. 19 in the afternoon featured the "three siblings" Seong Dong-il, Kim Hee-won and Jang Nara beginning their journey in earnest with their first housewarming guests Um Tae-gu and Shin Eun-soo.
At that evening meal, Seong Dong-il skillfully grilled beef steaks on a large iron plate set up outdoors, raising everyone's expectations. Actor Shin Eun-soo, overwhelmed by the fantastic smell rising from the cooking meat, kept praising, "The smell is so good."
Following Seong Dong-il's request, Um Tae-gu placed rosemary he had picked himself on the iron plate to add aroma, and when the rosemary scent spread softly, Jang Nara smiled, saying, "The scent got better."
When the meat was cooked, Seong Dong-il picked up a plate and, looking at Jang Nara who was quietly waiting, showed affection, saying, "Doesn't our Nara look so pretty standing there?" After tasting the steak, Jang Nara praised it highly, saying, "No vegetables are needed at all," adding that the seasoning was just right.
Looking at the hot iron plate, Seong Dong-il raised expectations by previewing a flashy second round of fried rice, saying, "Later let's fry rice on that. Sprinkle the gim Nara brought all over it."
