The global representative K-pop awards that has presented the value and vision of K-pop and accompanied the growth of Korea's music industry, "2025 MAMA AWARDS (2025 MAMA Awards)," has raised expectations further by announcing its second performing artist lineup.
The "2025 MAMA AWARDS," to be held over two days on Nov. 28 (Fri) and Nov. 29 (Sat) local time at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium (Kai Tak Stadium), has unveiled an additional second lineup following its first performing artist lineup that ranged from super rookies leading a new generation of K-pop to global top artists active on the world stage.
The second performing artist lineup announced this time includes aespa, G-DRAGON, IDID, i-dle, JO1 (Jeio), Kyoka, MIRROR, NCT WISH, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and TREASURE, a total of 10 acts (in alphabetical order). Among them is G-DRAGON, who last year appeared on the MAMA AWARDS stage under the name BigBang for the first time in nine years and delivered a legendary performance worthy of the moniker "MAMA icon," and other top artists who are also active globally have been confirmed to appear.
On the first day, Nov. 28, chapter 1 will feature i-dle, whose EP released in Japan for the first time in five years and first Japanese album after rebranding topped various charts; MIRROR, a Hong Kong boy group formed through ViuTV's audition program that has maintained the top spot; NCT WISH, which is recording career highs one after another with its third mini album's highest-ever first-week sales; and TREASURE, which achieved first-week million-seller status with its third mini album and has solidified its standing through a global tour.
On the next day, Nov. 29, chapter 2 will feature aespa, which proved explosive presence across Asia with its third Japan arena tour and is preparing for a world tour; G-DRAGON, who has established an unrivaled stature as a global icon through his third world tour meeting fans worldwide; IDID, a seven-member boy group born from Starship's large-scale project and rising as a "performance rookie"; JO1 (Jeio), a global boy group continuing active promotion ahead of the release of its 10th single on the 22nd following its first world tour and a solo Tokyo Dome concert earlier this year; Kyoka, the world-renowned dancer and champion crew member from Mnet's "World of Street Woman Fighter," hailed as a legend in the dance world; and TOMORROW X TOGETHER, who have been praised for overwhelming live performances while conducting a world tour.
With the core value of "heung," the joyful energy that blossoms within us the moment we freely sing and dance, the "2025 MAMA AWARDS," which chose this year's concept slogan as "uh-heung (UH-HEUNG)," is expected once again to be a global festival that expands the influence of K-pop worldwide. As MAMA AWARDS has annually created scenes that symbolize "the year's K-pop" with new and original stage compositions at the end of each year, attention is focused on what the artist stage that will create this year's iconic scene will look like.
Meanwhile, the "2025 MAMA AWARDS" will have global payment technology company Visa (Visa) as its title sponsor. The event will be held over two days on Nov. 28 and 29 local time at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium, a venue receiving attention as an Asian mega event hub, and will be shared with K-pop fans around the world through real-time global live broadcasts on various digital platforms beyond offline. <
