The protagonist of the 5.82 million-view "zombie dance" seeks What Would You Ask?
Tonight (20th) at 8:30 p.m., the 337th episode of KBS Joy's "What Would You Ask?" features as a storyteller the protagonist of the zombie dance who became a YouTube sensation nine years ago.
The storyteller, who hesitated for a long time as if nervous before beginning to open up, confessed, "Since I was young I was hurt by betrayal in relationships," saying that various events had piled up and made relationships difficult, and that although they had been pretending to be fine, they came to What Would You Ask? because they felt they couldn't keep going on like this.
Around third and fourth grade of elementary school, friends started a group online that disliked the storyteller and began talking behind their back, and the storyteller, who noticed the friends' different behavior, happened to discover those posts and started to pretend not to know and change their own behavior to avoid losing their friends.
Afterward, the storyteller, who recorded 5.82 million views with the zombie dance video and devoted themself to the dance, recalled that colleagues who danced with similar concepts began to be jealous and that they experienced things that caused them to feel ashamed.
However, the storyteller explained that they treasured the dance team as much as family and, wanting to dance with them, endured a knee injury and even gave up life at a university they entered on a scholarship to devote themself to the team's activities; unable to go on stage, they were expelled from the team and ended up completely alone.
In response, Seo Jang-hoon advised, "There's exactly one keyword that comes to mind," saying, "Don't like people so much," and Lee Sugeun also comforted them, saying, "Everyone has defensive instincts," adding, "It's important to look back on yourself to see whether none of this was your fault," "Don't go to places that hold bad memories," and "Are you forcing yourself to meet people while pretending to be okay?"
Also introduced in What Would You Ask? episode 337, which can be seen tonight (20th) at 8:30 p.m. on KBS Joy, are stories such as a four-year dating couple worried about marrying a boyfriend who cheated with 50 people, and a storyteller who has been dating for six months without being told they are loved.
