Jeon Yeo-been and Jang Yoon-ju are engaged in a life-or-death showdown over the Gaseong Group.
In the Genie TV original Ms. Incognito (directed by Park Yoo-young / written by Hyun Gyu-ri / planned by KT Studio Genie / produced by KROSS Pictures, Tris Studio), the tense power struggle between stepmother Kim Young-ran (played by Jeon Yeo-been) and stepdaughter Ga Sun-young (played by Jang Yoon-ju) over inheritance of the Gaseong Group is heightening viewers' suspense. With this, we looked at the head-to-head record of the two women, between whom there is no clear superiority.
Kim Young-ran and Ga Sun-young first clashed at the funeral of Gaseong Group chairman Ga Seong-ho (played by Moon Sung-geun). After Ga Seong-ho died, Ga Sun-young, who intended to claim his entire estate, noticed the existence of Kim Young-ran, who had registered a marriage with Ga Seong-ho, and appeared to confirm it. Kim Young-ran did not yield to Ga Sun-young's fierce momentum and shot back, "I am your mother from now on," creating a chilling atmosphere.
An enraged Ga Sun-young used measures to try to remove Kim Young-ran, but Kim Young-ran had already sensed Ga Sun-young's plan. She joined forces with Ga Seong-ho's personal lawyer Lee Don (played by Seo Hyun-woo) and quickly hid in Muchang village, outwitting Ga Sun-young's pursuit and perfectly seizing the initiative.
Having lost Kim Young-ran right before her eyes, Ga Sun-young, boiling with spite, framed Kim Young-ran as a villain and carried out a media campaign while stepping up the pursuit with her brother Ga Sun-woo (played by Lee Chang-min). She also showed the extent of her wickedness by ordering an associate to break into the Ga residence to tamper with a will that would be hidden there, in case Kim Young-ran could not be found.
Kim Young-ran fought back by exposing a recording she had previously collected of Ga Sun-woo attempting to sell off Gaseong Group assets, driving a wedge between the Ga siblings. Although Ga Sun-young briefly deflected media attention by holding a press conference claiming Ga Sun-woo had attempted an extreme act, the siblings' relationship worsened. Moreover, with Kim Young-ran, with the help of Jeon Dong-min (played by Chin Young), completely evading Ga Sun-woo's intrusion into Muchang village, the Ga siblings are increasingly losing their standing.
But Ga Sun-young, who will stop at nothing to achieve her goal, is unlikely to back down. Anxiety rose when Ga Sun-young appeared before Kim Young-ran's greatest life enemy, her mother Kim So-young (played by So Hee-jung). Because Kim So-young has long treated her daughter Kim Young-ran as nothing more than a source of money and shown no trace of maternal love, it becomes intriguing to wonder what negative impact a meeting between Ga Sun-young and Kim So-young will have on Kim Young-ran.
Kim Young-ran, however, is also consolidating her position with strong support in the form of Jeon Dong-min as well as the capable lawyer Lee Don, and by embedding herself among the harmless people of Muchang village, promising an even more exciting fight. Whether Kim Young-ran can protect Ga Seong-ho's inheritance against the two villains Ga Sun-young and Kim So-young and the outcome of her life reset project are drawing attention.
