Actor Lee Min-jung attended her eldest son's basketball tournament final without resting even on the weekend
On the 19th, Lee Min-jung posted a photo with the caption "Who am I, and where is this" and "ahead of the final."
The released photo shows Lee Min-jung visiting an indoor gymnasium in Yongin to watch her son's basketball tournament. A large banner reads "2025 Yongin Special City and Woo Ji-won present youth basketball tournament," and Lee Min-jung, attending as a parent even on a holiday, cheered for her son without resting. She is spending busy days faithfully performing both her roles as an actor and as a mother.
Earlier, Lee Min-jung introduced "Lee Min-jung MJ" on her personal channel and revealed the reason she strictly keeps the face of her eldest son, Jun-ho, who is 12, private.
Close friends Wang Bit-na and Lee So-yeon asked, "Do you plan to continue not showing your son Jun-ho's face in the future?" Lee Min-jung replied, "People recognizing him while passing by might be fun and nice for a while now, but later, around middle and high school, it will be uncomfortable for him, and like with our father, when he becomes an adult he will have to have his profession judged, so it would be better for him to make that choice then."
Lee Min-jung said, "My son plays basketball in youth leagues. So, in fact, if you want to see his face you can," and added, "When I went to basketball tournaments with my son I was doing other things so I couldn't see, but I could hear people's voices from behind. 'There he is~ his face is exactly like his father's~ I can see him, that's Lee Jun-ho' they said," noting that there are already people who recognize his face.
Meanwhile, Lee Min-jung and Lee Byung-hun married in August 2013 and welcomed their first son Jun-ho in 2015, and after eight years, in December 2023, they had a late-born second daughter.
