Dingo Music drew controversy after including former member Yong Junhyung, who left the group, in a concert lineup video instead of Highlight leader Yoon Dujun, and Yoon Dujun shared an upbeat update on his condition.
Yoon Dujun posted a selfie on his Instagram story on Oct. 18 with the message "Light best." Light is the name of Highlight's fandom. In the photo, Yoon Dujun shows off a warm visual and gives fans a gentle smile.
Highlight is the successor to Beast, which debuted in 2009. Originally, Beast was a six-member group led by Yoon Dujun and included Lee Gi-kwang, Yang Yoseob, Son Dong-woon, Jang Hyunseung and Yong Junhyung. However, after leaving former agency CUBE Entertainment, the group transformed into the five-member Highlight excluding Jang Hyunseung.
In 2019, the entertainment industry was shaken by singer Jung Joon-young's illegal videos and the Burning Sun scandal, and Yong Junhyung was revealed to have received and viewed illegal videos from Jung Joon-young, leading to his unsavory departure from the group. Yong Junhyung faced further criticism after being questioned by police as a witness in the case.
Recently, Dingo Music used the wrong photo while introducing Highlight among the performers at the "2025 Dingo Music Concert — Killing Voice". They introduced Highlight with a four-member photo that included Yong Junhyung instead of Yoon Dujun.
In response, Dingo Music issued an apology saying, "This was a clear mistake by Dingo Music, which produced the performance, and we deeply apologize for broadcasting the video without sufficient prior verification. Above all, we sincerely apologize for causing deep hurt and inconvenience to Highlight members, the agency and the fans."
They continued, "Although the production schedule for this video was tight on the day of the performance, we fully understand that no circumstances can exempt us from responsibility. As the party that produced and released the content, all responsibility lies with Dingo Music," and added, "We recognize this matter very seriously and will strengthen verification and approval procedures for artist-related materials in all production processes to prevent similar incidents from recurring." <
