Broadcaster Kim Na-young revealed her happy wedding with singer and painter MyQ. The two announced a new beginning amid their families' blessings, pledging their love to each other through tears.
Kim Na-young posted a vlog of the wedding titled "Na-young & MyQ became a family" on her YouTube channel "Kim Na-young's No Filter TV" on the afternoon of Oct. 19.
Kim Na-young and MyQ were married on Oct. 3. Kim Na-young was worried when it rained the morning of the wedding, but the rain soon stopped and a fairy-tale wedding unfolded. Kim Na-young, wearing a beautiful blue dress, was happy as she took photos with MyQ and her two sons, Shin-woo and Lee-jun.
The ceremony featured happy smiles and tears of emotion. Kim Na-young and MyQ read vows they had written themselves and promised eternal love.
Kim Na-young opened her remarks, "After a long, long journey I stand here before MyQ. Meeting MyQ has helped me understand what love is. Now, even when something upsets me or makes me angry outside, I do not feel lonely. When I go home, how do I convey this so it feels real? Honestly, I get excited thinking about how MyQ will get angry with me about these things and comfort me."
She continued, "When something joyful happens, he is happier than I am and showers me with beautiful praise and compliments, making me the happiest person in the world," and "Even at my worst moments, MyQ consistently embraced me with loving kindness. Over time MyQ taught me what love is. Thank you. Simply being by my side is perfect consolation for me," expressing deep affection.
Recalling MyQ's proposal, Kim Na-young said, "To be honest, when MyQ proposed I felt happy but also afraid. Standing here now may be the bravest thing I have ever done. I will confess that it was possible because MyQ gave me the courage to do it."
Kim Na-young added, "The love MyQ has shown to me and the children was truly sacred. Seeing the children look for MyQ before me and say they like him more shows how great the love MyQ has poured out for us has been," expressing gratitude and affection.
Finally, Kim Na-young vowed, "I get so excited thinking about how gracefully and warmly MyQ will age. I have been so fearful that life always felt too heavy for me, but now that I'm with MyQ I feel excited rather than afraid. I will comfort and welcome my precious MyQ with beautiful words that suit him. And I will cheer for him. As I promised before God, I will love MyQ more when he is not shining or not lovable, just as he has loved me." Kim Na-young and MyQ exchanged the rings brought by Shin-woo and Lee-jun as they pledged their love.
