Actor Hong Jin-hee denied a rumor after more than 20 years.
On the 18th, MBN's Sokpuri Show Dongchimi discussed "marriage: lonely if you don't, miserable if you do BEST5."
Hong Jin-hee opened by saying, "Doesn't my face look a little strange? So since I was young I've heard too often, 'Is anyone helping her? How does she make a living?' whatever she eats to live."
She added, "Back then we were filming the drama 'Match' in Busan and there were onlookers. One ajumma loudly said, 'That woman came to our motel with some celebrity and slept there,'" she said.
She continued, "Maybe that person works at the motel. I really wanted to talk about this on the show. It was hard to refute in that situation. The staff were shocked and looked at me. I was so bewildered I only thought what should I do and couldn't say anything. That woman seemed out of her mind. She even named the male celebrity," she said.
She also expressed frustration, "A famous senior actress had promised to marry a singer. One day that senior called me to the makeup room and said, 'You meet my boyfriend, don't you?' I said I didn't know him, but she said I was lying. Later I found out the culprit was another senior with the same surname Hong."
