tvN 'Typhoon Family' president Lee Junho and office worker Kim Minha head to Busan this time. Waiting there is a new transaction partner, Jin Sun-kyu.
A new burst of laughter is expected to hit tvN weekend drama 'Typhoon Family' (directed by Lee Najung and Kim Dong-hwi, written by Jang Hyun, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Imaginus·Studio PIC·Tris Studio). As a preview, in a special pre-release video the newly appearing Jin Sun-kyu shows overwhelming presence and instantly flips the mood. With his uniquely realistic everyday acting and masterful aura added, he will engage in a sales battle with Lee Junho that alternates between laughter and tension from their first meeting.
In today's (19th) episode 4 broadcast, Kang Taepung (Lee Junho) and Oh Miseon (Kim Minha) begin their full work mode in Busan. Where dollars and exports gather, curiosity rises about what variety of events will occur in Busan. In the pre-release video, Taepung, searching for export items, wanders through the Busan market that has everything and stops in front of a store emitting an unusual force. The owner there is Park Yoon-chul (Jin Sun-kyu), the CEO of safety shoes "Shubak." Introducing himself as "not a merchant but a researcher," he, seeming delighted by Taepung's interest, launches an impromptu passionate "Shubak Safe" experimental show.
Yoon-chul, who begins pounding a frying pan vigorously on a steel pipe, then repeatedly drives other brands' safety shoes into the steel pipe as if beating them. By contrast, the safety shoes he developed withstand even a full-body downward strike. Moreover, when a flame test follows and the might of "safety shoes that withstand fire and nails" is revealed, Taepung, watching this, cannot hide his admiration and applauds like a seal.
Although Taepung is impressed by the "Shubak Safe" demonstration that says "benefit safety widely," the most important thing is the "safety" of this transaction. In the previous broadcast, Taepung was deceived by Pyo Sang-seon and Pyo Bak-ho's (Kim Sang-ho) cunning contract trick and had all the original cloth that determined the company's fate taken away; now he has lost employees, money and goods to sell. He faced bankruptcy, but choosing a change of representative rather than closure, Taepung must be even more cautious as president. Like the "Shubak Safe" that withstands fire and nails, hopes are growing that this time his transaction might truly be "safe."
Meanwhile, on the Busan business trip subtle changes in the relationship between Taepung and Miseon are detected. In fact, the two had built a strong bond through facing crises together. As his father Kang Jin-young (Seong Dong-il) had, Taepung saw that Miseon, who took on office errands under the title of accounting, is the most sensible brain and has the qualities and abilities to become an office man. Miseon, too, though there is still much to teach, was surprised to see Taepung's instinctive sensitivity and unexpected backbone. In addition, she wants to honor the boss's final words "please take care of Taepung," who said that debts from a black-haired beast must be repaid. Having recognized each other, the two last night were reborn as president and office worker of Typhoon Family.
A still cut released before the main broadcast captures a moment when Taepung and Miseon, having temporarily put work down, are at the Busan seaside. Like the sound of waves passing through the cold wind, a quiet but definite warmth spreads between them. Their gazes toward each other reveal something that blooms beyond president and chief. This brief rest amid a varied day feels like the start of another story for the two who endured as office workers. The strange atmosphere that bloomed over the Busan sea raises expectations for what exciting twist Typhoon Family will create following last broadcast's heart-pounding proposal.
Episode 4 of 'Typhoon Family' airs today (19th) Sunday at 9:10 p.m. on tvN.<
