Comedian Yoo Jae-suk has drawn attention by revealing private aspects of his married life with his wife Na Kyung-eun. Because it has been rare to see Yoo Jae-suk and Na Kyung-eun together on broadcasts, a single remark generated overwhelming buzz.
On the afternoon of Oct. 18, the MBC variety show "Hangout with Yoo" aired a special episode called "Insamo (association of unpopular people)." Yoo Jae-suk and the members met Choi Hong-man, Hyun Bong-sik and Kwanghee and tried to recruit them as "Insamo" members.
In particular, in that episode Yoo Jae-suk focused attention by revealing aspects of his married life with Na Kyung-eun. While talking with the members, Choi Hong-man mentioned a woman he was having a fling with, and Haha said, "I'm curious about everything. I'm curious whether the brother and sister-in-law kiss with their glasses on or off." In response, Yoo Jae-suk said, "We do it with them on."
Yoo Jae-suk and Na Kyung-eun met through MBC's Infinite Challenge and married in 2008; they have a son and a daughter. Although they met through broadcasting, they have rarely appeared together on shows or discussed their private life. For that reason, Yoo Jae-suk's single remark naturally led to a strong reaction.
Yoo Jae-suk has recently often mentioned his wife Na Kyung-eun and their two children, Ji-ho and Na-eun, on broadcasts. During filming he bought a gift for Na-eun and, talking with colleagues about their children, showed the side of him who is a devoted father of a daughter.
Recently, while recruiting actor Kim Hee-ae as the MC for the "80's Seoul Song Festival" on "Hangout with Yoo," he said, "Kyung-eun always says when she sees the older woman on TV that she's cool. She says she wants to be like her."
Earlier, when "Hangout with Yoo" visited a traditional market during recording, he strolled around and expressed regret, saying, "I really like the market. I told Kyung-eun we'd go to the market together but we couldn't," The remark at that time also drew overwhelming interest from fans.
