Actor Go Chang-seok expressed hurt over Kim Jong-kook's "secret wedding."
Recently, the YouTube channel "Director Go Chang-seok" posted a video titled "If we cast Kim Woo-bin, who will cover the production costs?"
The released video shows a conversation between Go Chang-seok and rapper Ozone, and Go Chang-seok mentioned the recently married Kim Jong-kook, saying, "Not long ago Kim Jong-kook said he was exercising. I thought he wouldn't get married, but he did right away."
In response, Ozone said in surprise, "Did he get married?" and Go Chang-seok showed his hurt, saying, "You didn't know either? Damn. I thought we were pretty close. I found out he was married from a variety show."
Then Nucksal joked, "He didn't invite you to the wedding? He must have only invited entertainers," drawing laughter.
Then Go Chang-seok asked, "You're close with Car, the Garden, right? Nucksal? He got married, right?" Ozone drew a line, saying, "It's all business relationships," but added, "Nucksal hyung has kids," and Go Chang-seok asked, "Did he invite you to his wedding?" Ozone could not answer either, adding to the laughter.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong-kook held a secret wedding on Sept. 5 with a non-celebrity bride, out of consideration for her and their families. The wedding invited only 50 guests from each side composed of family and closest associates. Though his entertainment industry debut was nearly 30 years ago, it was reported that many close colleagues in the entertainment industry were not invited, drawing attention.
Guests included the Running Man team, members of the Year of the Dragon club, Kang Hoon, Joo Woo-jae, and Seo Jang-hoon, but recently on SBS' My Little Old Boy, Super Junior's Kim Heechul, who boasts a close relationship with Kim Jong-kook, was revealed to have been excluded from the list of 50 guests.
