Actor Min Ji-young reflected on the second anniversary since she and her husband started traveling the world in a campervan.
On the 17th, Min Ji-young posted a long message on her social media that began, "Today marks already two years since we, as a couple, loaded our campervan onto a ship at Donghae Port and began our long journey to find happiness."
She wrote, "Back then I really let go of my life in reality and took that first step into the world filled with fear, anxiety and tension, and I had many doubts about whether we could find health and happiness through this trip," and continued, "We went through many trials and even stamped divorce papers, but living day to day in a 4-pyeong County bus we once shared with a man I loved madly, wandering a strange world and going through hardships and battles together, now after two years have passed we have become each other's greatest support and reliance, tightly united with tremendous fighting spirit and camaraderie, and now we seem to have become a very strong team that can firmly and bravely overcome whatever trials and hardships come our way."
She added, "In the meantime, our most lovable cat-daughter Momo joined us, and our three-person family's campervan world trip is filled day by day with charming happiness," showing affection for her pet cat.
She said, "To mark the second anniversary of our journey to find happiness, we searched and searched for a campsite with super-fast Wi-Fi so we could share this moment with you via a live broadcast, but so much rain has fallen that it would be difficult to keep an internet connection stable and have a smooth live broadcast in this heavy downpour, so although I'm very sorry, today we decided to have a modest second anniversary celebration just the three of us," and added, "There's more rain forecast for the near future, so we will set a new date for a live broadcast on a sunny day soon and post an announcement. Min Ji-young married Kim Hyung-gyun, a shopping host two years her junior, in 2018, and after two miscarriages she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2021 and is undergoing treatment. She had surgery but has not yet been declared cured. She is currently traveling the world in a campervan with her husband, mainly around Europe, and shares their daily life on YouTube.
