HYBE global group &TEAM released additional concept clips and photos for their Korean mini album Back to Life on Oct. 17.
It is the "ROAR" version, which emphasizes the group's identity of "wolf DNA." The surreal space draws attention to the mysterious visuals of the nine members (Ui-ju, Huma, K, Nicholas, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, Maki). With the sound of wolves howling, the members' intense gazes and resolute expressions alternate, clearly revealing the nine members' determination to challenge a path no one has tread.
The concept photos also visualize the group's bond and vitality through sets and makeup that emphasize soft light and shadow and natural textures. Restrained power and refined sensibility stand out. It raises expectations for &TEAM's new leap from the K-pop main scene.
The first released concept, "BREATH," depicted &TEAM's survival instinct of rising again after hardship. The second concept, "GAZE," expressed the will to soar beyond limits toward higher places. This "ROAR" version condenses &TEAM's challenging spirit and identity as they move toward unknown realms.
&TEAM, which has elevated the symbolic messages contained in the Korean debut album Back to Life to a peak, will sequentially release a track sampler, track list and highlight medley from Oct. 20 to 22. The title track and music video will be pre-released on Oct. 27, and the Korean mini album Back to Life will be released worldwide on Oct. 28.
