YouTuber A-olyi bought a 6.6 billion won Gangnam APT. and is attracting attention for generous giveaways.
On the 16th, A-olyi released a video on her YouTube channel titled "Moving. Before I go, I'm giving away everything worth n ten million won."
Previously, in June, A-olyi purchased a single 55-pyeong APT. in Samseong-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul, for 6.6 billion won. The remaining payment was made on Oct. 10, and on the same day the transfer of ownership registration was completed. Along with the transfer of ownership, a maximum secured claim of 2.335 billion won was established as a bank mortgage with a commercial bank.
Preparing to move, A-olyi said, "I'm a maximalist, aren't I? I have too much stuff. I can't take it all with me," and organized clothes, cosmetics and health supplements to give them to subscribers. The items she organized alone were worth several tens of millions of won, and A-olyi said, "Just the clothes, including those in a logistics warehouse, easily exceed 100 pieces."
Among the products A-olyi revealed were many luxury brand items with tags still attached. With items such as a Chanel dress drawing attention, A-olyi said, "I will live as a minimalist now." She also gave away more than 200 cosmetics and health supplements that still had remaining shelf life.
A-olyi, who has 770,000 subscribers, married race car driver Seo Joo-won but divorced in 2022. The APT. she purchased is known to have been occupied by broadcaster Jun Hyun-moo, drawing attention.
