Actor Shin Joo-ah reached her lowest weight ever.
On Oct. 18, actor Shin Joo-ah posted two photos on her social account. One was a photo of her wearing workout clothes, and the other was a photo verifying her electronic scale.
Wearing workout clothes, Shin Joo-ah proved she was extremely thin even with tight top and bottom. Known as a "see-through body," Shin Joo-ah looked visibly skeletal at a glance. In the next photo, Shin Joo-ah revealed a weight in the 39 kg range.
She wrote, "You've been working hard lately, right? Is this the lowest life broken?" seeming surprised at herself. Shin Joo-ah is known to be 168 cm tall, and because the healthy and appropriate weight for that height is widely known to be in the 60 kg range, Shin Joo-ah's weight is estimated to be underweight even among underweight classifications.
Internet users reacted with comments such as "Wow, she is really thin," "Wow, to lose that much weight," and "Health is absolutely the most important as you age, please take good care of yourself."
Meanwhile, Shin Joo-ah is set to appear in "Husband and Wife Scandal: Pandora's Secret." She married a third-generation Thai chaebol in 2014 and is living in Thailand.
