Singer Lee Mujin personally apologized after seven months for missing the recording of "Limousine Service."
Recently, the 186th episode of "Limousine Service," released on the YouTube channel KBS Kpop, featured the group NMIXX.
In the video, while greeting NMIXX, Lee Mujin said, "I can't let this go without mentioning it. I'm sorry. I should kneel, but I learned as a man from my father to live as a man, so I can't kneel," and appeared restless.
Lee Mujin told Gyujin, "Although this is our first meeting, I'm very glad to meet you." Lee Mujin said, "It was a past matter, but just because it is in the past doesn't mean it disappears, so I wanted to tell viewers that I was very sorry at that time. I tried not to be so calm and to make it funny, but I had been waiting so much for Gyujin to come — there was a duet we had prepared then that we couldn't perform —" and bowed his head.
Gyujin said, "That's why I'm so happy to be able to sing the duet again today," and Lee Mujin apologized, "Thank you so much for saying that. I hope you can let go of what you couldn't do then, and once again I'm sorry."
The reason Lee Mujin apologized was that he did not attend the "Limousine Service" recording scheduled for March 5. Artists from the agency ONEHUNDRED boycotted KBS appearances amid a conflict between KBS and ONEHUNDRED over Siu-min's appearance on "Music Bank," so "Limousine Service" was recorded with NMIXX's Gyujin doing the recording alone without host Lee Mujin.
Although the boycott did not last long, there was widespread criticism when a guest performed alone without a host, an unprecedented situation. Lee Mujin personally apologized to the involved party after about seven months, bringing the matter to a close for the time being.
