IAAN of Hearts2Hearts expressed respect for Girls' Generation's Taeyeon and SHINee's Key.
The 18th aired tvN variety show 'Amazing Saturday' (hereinafter 'Amazing Sat') featured a jewelry box special with Izuna Bang Jimin, ILLIT Wonhee, IAAN of Hearts2Hearts, and Bonekdoh Myung Jaehyun.
Each widely known within their own groups, they cheered at the appearance of IAAN, who boasts the most views on reels and short-form videos among them. IAAN had attracted attention since debut as the next girl group from SM, the idol powerhouse, after aespa.
Boom asked, "Ms. IAAN has two direct seniors," noting that Taeyeon and Key were talents who dominated variety shows from their debut as well as in their fields. IAAN said, "When we debuted, the company said we must be like senior Taeyeon, like the seniors from Girls' Generation," citing Taeyeon, called the living idol legend known as "Geuateng," as a role model.
IAAN continued, "Senior Key recently held a concert, and I really thought I should become a senior like that," expressing admiration for Key. Then Key joked, "I also want to have a senior like me," drawing laughter and earning a remark from Noksal that it sounded "annoying."
