Actor Shim Hyung-tak celebrated the birthday of an animation character he likes with his son and fulfilled another wish.
On the 18th Shim Hyung-tak posted on his social media account, "Doraemon's birthday with Haru. I fulfilled one of my wishes. Haru, let's keep playing together happily and in good health, dad," and shared several photos.
In the photos Shim Hyung-tak celebrated the birthday of the Japanese animation character "Doraemon" he likes. It is widely known that Shim Hyung-tak likes "Doraemon." Shim Hyung-tak once said a room was wallpapered with Doraemon goods and that when he was having a very hard time the character was a friend who stayed with him, and he cried with gratitude when he received a call from Doraemon's voice actor.
Because the character has deep personal meaning, Shim Hyung-tak also observed the birthday. This birthday was especially meaningful because his son Haru joined him. Shim Hyung-tak dressed Haru in a Doraemon outfit, made a cake with bread that Doraemon likes, and they had a fun time.
Meanwhile, Shim Hyung-tak married Japanese national Hirai Saya and had a son, Haru, in January.
