Actor Nam Bo-ra appeared disappointed by the result of a pregnancy test.
On Oct. 17, a video titled "What if there's news for me too...? Drumroll Nam Bo-ra's newlywed diary" was posted on the YouTube channel Nam Bo-ra's Life Theater.
That day Nam Bo-ra said, "My husband and I want a large family. But recently I've been a bit nauseous and sleepy," and she used a pregnancy test to check for pregnancy.
When one line appeared, she said with regret, "I thought maybe, but as expected." Showing the pregnancy test with one line to her husband, Nam Bo-ra confessed, "It's the first time I've been disappointed because there wasn't a second line."
Her husband also said, "When they said 'everyone is healthy,' I thought 'it'll happen soon,'" and Nam Bo-ra replied, "So honestly I've tried to let it go until the end of this year. I thought I'd get stressed if I rushed my mind too much."
Her husband comforted her, saying, "If a baby comes, we'll raise the baby diligently, and if it comes late, you can work hard until then," and Nam Bo-ra expressed a wish, "That's right. I like that mindset. But I hope it's a daughter."
She continued, "Because I always hope for high fertility, a late-born daughter is fine. Son son son son daughter is also fine. I absolutely want to have at least one daughter. If there are two lines next time, I'll share good news again."
Meanwhile, Nam Bo-ra, the eldest daughter among eight sons and five daughters, debuted as an actor after appearing on MBC's Sunday Night-Choir of Angels and KBS's Human Theater, which drew attention. She then married a businessman of the same age in May.
