Actor Bae Jung-nam expressed deep grief after losing a pet dog he considered like a child.
On Oct. 16, Bae Jung-nam uploaded a photo to his social account with the caption "my baby."
The released photo showed Bell, Bae Jung-nam's dog, in her childhood—sleeping peacefully in Bae's arms. He then posted another photo of Bell, saying "I miss you, I can't breathe.." to express his longing.
Earlier, on Sept. 29, Bae Jung-nam announced the death of his dog Bell. He said, "My beloved daughter Bell became a star in the sky. She went through rehabilitation and surgery and endured many hardships; I'm so grateful and proud that she overcame them and I hoped she could live peacefully now, but she suddenly collapsed from cardiac arrest and left for dog heaven."
He added, "Thank you sincerely to everyone who sent so much love, support and encouragement to my very kind and beautiful daughter Bell. Now don't be sick anymore and run and play freely there; thank you for coming to your dad. My daughter, Dad loves you very much," expressing his sorrow.
Afterward, Bae Jung-nam continued to post photos of times he spent with Bell while she was alive, reminiscing about memories. On Oct. 15 he also posted a photo standing side by side with Bell on the beach, saying, "Looking at the same place as the day I first went to the sea with my daughter," evoking poignancy.
