Actress Shin Mina spoke directly about the buzz over her "premiere looks" and the secret behind her beauty.
On Oct. 16, a video titled "Should I tell you Shin Mina's beauty formula? (It's a secret but actually she's a gumiho)" was released on the YouTube channel "Elle Korea."
In the video, Shin Mina said, "Isn't the job of an actor to be styled to fit a concept? Since you only see the styled appearance, I can see how you might think that," showing a humble attitude toward the ongoing praise that she is beautiful.
She added, "I also saw 'My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho' appear in my algorithm and watched it. It's an older work, so it was surprising that people still remember it. I looked so young back then."
She directly addressed reactions to the "premiere looks" that recently set online forums ablaze. Shin Mina said, "Many people commented. They liked the blusher and hairstyle, so I thought it would be nice to do a project with this look next time."
When asked about the "secret to enduring beauty," she said, "I don't do full makeup often and focus on natural skin and eyebrows. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes before going out." She added the tip, "Getting plenty of sleep seems to be the most important thing for skin care."
Meanwhile, Shin Mina cited the drama "My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho" as the character that represents her, saying, "That character made who I am today. I am grateful for the great love I received."
