TV personality Lee Ji-hye revealed the death of her pet dog, expressing heartbreaking grief.
On Jan. 17, Lee said on her Instagram, "I got the call on the plane. Yoda crossed the rainbow bridge. If only you had waited one more day, but at least I was able to see your final moments."
She added, "I saw my father's tears for the first time. He sobbed over the phone yesterday, and I worry more about my father, wondering if I made him, at his age, go through something too hard."
Lee said, "Because of my husband's dog allergy, I couldn't raise Yoda myself, and my parents always worry about me. My father, in particular, loves dogs so much and cared for Yoda, relying on the dog like a child."
She went on, "I miss Yoda so much and feel so sorry. A baby who always stayed by my side during hard times. Don't be in pain anymore and rest comfortably now. Your last look was so beautiful that it's still vivid before my eyes," expressing her deep affection for the pet.
Earlier, Lee shared that her dog Yoda had been given a terminal diagnosis. At the time, Lee said, "They say there are at most six months left to live," and added, "I'm spending each day preparing my heart."
