NMIXX reaffirmed their fully packed hexagonal capabilities with their first music show stage since their comeback.
NMIXX released their first full-length album Blue Valentine and the title track of the same name on Oct. 13. The title track reached a peak of No. 11 on the Melon Top 100 as of 12 a.m. on Oct. 14 and then topped the Bugs daily chart for Oct. 15. As of the morning of Oct. 16, it ranked No. 1 on Bugs' real-time chart, VIBE's domestic rising chart, and Melon Hot 100's 100-day and 30-day charts, and it took No. 1 on the Melon daily chart, rising more than 10 places for two consecutive days after entering the chart, accelerating its upward momentum on major music charts. In addition, it topped the iTunes top album charts in several overseas regions, including Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam, showcasing global popularity.
On the afternoon of the 16th, they appeared on Mnet's M Countdown to perform the album track SPINNIN' ON IT and the title track Blue Valentine. With SPINNIN' ON IT they showed a harmony of powerful yet delicate vocals and stylish performance, and on the title track stage they expressed the song's cold yet warm emotion through singing, choreography and facial expressions, heating up both online and offline.
On Oct. 14 and 15, they appeared on KBS Kpop's popular YouTube segment Limousine Service. This appearance drew attention as the first case in which all members appeared as a full group following individual episodes for each member. The members showcased their versatility by performing solo and duet covers of songs such as Snow Flower, drivers license, Dandelion and HER across genres, and they discussed their new album and music earnestly, proving why they are regular popular guests on Limousine Service.
They also displayed all-around charm combining wit, humor and warmth on several programs including ENA's Salon de Dolly: You're so talkative, the popular YouTube channel Mimiminwoo, Studio Slam's Mimiminwoo corner analysis, and Call Me Baby. Recently, through short-form content on their official social media channels, they presented NMIXX's love test challenge using the new song, and released a title track dance challenge featuring artists such as Stray Kids' Hyunjin and STAYC's Isa, increasing attention for the new album.
Riding the success of their new release, NMIXX will hold their first solo concert in November. The performance, scheduled for Nov. 29 and 30 at Incheon Inspire Arena, will open their first world tour
