Broadcaster Jun Hyun-moo will present Korea's first joint-purchase seller real talk show Seller-Brity.
Seller-Brity is a web content jointly produced by content producer Merry Go Round Company and marketing platform corporation Storelink, featuring mega influencers, CEOs and others who have successfully built their own brands, who candidly reveal the philosophy and behind-the-scenes of glamorous marketing.
To ease consumers fatigued by exaggerated promotion and mistrust of information, the show, based on the planning intention of 'meet the person before the product,' will focus on sellers' influence and business sense that can turn ordinary products into 'must-buy items' through sincere communication among the host, guests and followers.
Also, Seller-Brity goes beyond simple interviews by revealing special limited-time discounts on actual products from appearing sellers. It raises both the program's credibility and fun while presenting a new commerce format that connects content and real consumer experience.
Hosting will be handled by 'a trusted-to-watch MC' Jun Hyun-moo, who built a distinctive character across entertainment, culture and radio. With his distinctive precise diction and witty hosting, he draws out guests' real stories and human sides and searches with viewers for the answer to 'what is a true celebrity.'
The first guest to open the door to Jun Hyun-moo and Seller-Brity is CEO Kim So-young. A former MBC announcer, Kim served as a prime-time news anchor on programs including News Desk from 2012 and was loved for the weekend radio program 'The announcer who reads books.' She is now an influencer with 240,000 Instagram followers and has expanded her business scope broadly from a curation bookstore brand to a curation platform, health functional foods and cosmetics brands, continuing her path as an entrepreneur.
Because Jun Hyun-moo and CEO Kim So-young share the commonality of having been beloved announcers representing KBS and MBC respectively, they will reveal stories about their lives as announcers while highlighting entrepreneur Kim So-young's side, raising expectations that they will offer viewers a different kind of enjoyment.
Meanwhile, Seller-Brity will release its first episode on the 17th and will be made public every Friday through the Seller-Brity official YouTube channel.
