MBC's "Mystery TV Surprise" will return early next year after a revamp.
MBC's long-running flagship program that anchors Sunday mornings, "Mystery TV Surprise," will take a short hiatus for reorganization.
"Mystery TV Surprise" will pause its 23-year run after airing its 1,185th episode on Oct. 26 and return to viewers early next year with a new look.
First broadcast on Apr. 7, 2002, "Mystery TV Surprise" has entertained viewers by reconstructing mysteries from around the world, bizarre incidents, unbelievable stories and even hidden stories of celebrities through reenactments, earning long-standing love from viewers, including ranking first in ratings in its Sunday morning time slot for a long time.
Having run for 23 years, "Mystery TV Surprise" will upgrade the program to match the changing broadcast environment and, after reorganization, return early next year with a new format and even more surprising stories. The production team of "Mystery TV Surprise" said it was not the end of the program but a short break to make it better and asked viewers to look forward to its return in early 2026.
Meanwhile, "Mystery TV Surprise" will air its 1,184th episode at 10:40 a.m. on Sunday the 19th.
