The group Highlight (HIGHLIGHT) delivers rainbow-colored sincerity to fans on their 16th debut anniversary.
Highlight (Yoon Dujun, Yang Yoseob, Lee Gikwang, Son Dongwoon) releases their new single "RAINBOW (레인보우)" today (16th) at 6 p.m., and holds a YouTube live broadcast from 7 p.m. to spend a meaningful time.
"RAINBOW" is a new song Highlight gives to the fans who have always been by their side and supported them. Like a rainbow that embroidered the sky after the rain cleared, it carries the message that "our sky is ultimately completed by the light that is you." It starts with lyrical vocals and delivers a strong resonance in a modern rock genre that maximizes swelling emotions.
Through "RAINBOW," the members reminisce about the memories they built together with Light (Highlight fandom name) and Beauty (Beast fandom name) as Highlight and Beast. They express gratitude to the fans who have consistently believed in and supported them, and sing their hope that the times ahead will also shine in diverse colors.
Following the fan song release, Highlight will celebrate their 16th anniversary more specially by communicating with fans in real time during the live broadcast that day. Highlight's unique special love for fans and warm interaction are expected to amplify the song's emotional impact.
Since debuting on Oct. 16, 2009, Highlight members have steadily continued activities and have firmly maintained their presence as a "K-pop representative legend."
