A pop-up where you can see the group's new merch for TWS (투어스) opened today (16th).
According to Pledis Entertainment, from today until the 22nd a pop-up celebrating the release of TWS's (Shin-yu, Do-hun, Young-jae, Han-jin, Ji-hoon, Kyung-min) mini 4th album "play hard" will be held at the Iconic Zone on basement level 2 of The Hyundai Seoul in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
The pop-up infused the space with the fresh and upbeat energy of the new release. The walls greet fans with TWS's faces as if popped out of a comic, and the front photo zone is decorated with a wing-shaped object used in the album to give visitors special memories. Inside, visitors can find a variety of merch including the physical album, string bags, pouches, bandanas, clothing, carabiners and more.
Events that let visitors enjoy "play hard" in a fun way were also prepared. Number Quest, a simple game; an audio zone where you can listen to TWS's music and voices; and a message zone where you can leave supportive messages for the members are set up to provide visitors with an immersive experience. There is also a stamp event where participants can receive perks by completing various missions and collecting stamps.
Anyone who wants to visit the pop-up can enter after registering on the on-site waiting system. From the first day the pop-up opened, crowds waiting to enter confirmed TWS's high popularity. Visitors enjoyed the pop-up by taking commemorative photos throughout the store.
Meanwhile, "play hard," released on the 13th, sold more than 510,000 copies on its first day, making it a half-million seller. The title track "OVERDRIVE" sparked its popularity by entering domestic music charts, including reaching No. 1 on Bugs' real-time chart and entering Melon's Top 100 and Genie's real-time chart. The song has also held the No. 1 spot on Japan Line Music's daily "K-pop Top 100" chart for two consecutive days (Oct. 14–15).
TWS will appear on Mnet's M Countdown on the 16th to present their new song stage. They plan to fully convey the hot passion of youth with a performance that adds power to the TWS-style freshness that has been loved by the public.
