SBS Plus and Kstar jointly produced variety show Real Love Lab: Poison Apple (hereafter "Poison Apple") has released an exclusive interview with main MC Jun Hyun-moo and the strong MC team who will lead season 2—Yang Se-chan, Lee Eun-ji, Yoon Tae-jin and Heo Young-ji.
Yang Se-chan and Lee Eun-ji, who return as MCs for Poison Apple season 2, which premieres Nov. 1 at 8 p.m., expressed strong confidence and affection for the show. Yang Se-chan said, "Season 1 was so fun that I hoped season 2 would come quickly. I expect it will be even stronger than season 1." Lee Eun-ji said she was "happy to greet viewers with season 2" and asserted, "Poison Apple 2 will be a healthy dopamine for viewers."
New MCs Yoon Tae-jin and Heo Young-ji, who joined as the 'deadly sisters,' also showed determined resolve. Yoon Tae-jin laughed, "For a long time I lived thinking I was a soccer player, so I'm happy to join such a high-profile program. It's an honor to work with people I usually admire." Heo Young-ji expressed enthusiasm, saying, "As a viewer who used to overimmerse, I'm already excited and think it'll be fun to join as an MC."
In an era flooded with dating shows, Yang Se-chan and Lee Eun-ji, who successfully led Poison Apple, clearly explained the viewing points that make season 2 a "must-watch." Yang Se-chan predicted, "Poison Apple's unique charm is that it's harsh, powerful and honest. Also, many couples create the suspense of 'Will they really fall for each other? No way, right?' which is fun to watch. It's an experiment camera you can't see anywhere else, so I think many people will enjoy it." Lee Eun-ji cited the season's highlights as "the irresistibly charming Apple team and the MCs' chemistry, and honest, bold VCRs (hidden camera videos)!" Given how much publicity the grand display of 'Apple antics' generated, Yang Se-chan marveled, "It would be strange if people didn't fall for the Apple team's antics." Lee Eun-ji added, "Among past Apple women, Park Geun-na showed the most natural and unforced Apple antics, which were striking," and said, "It made me think appropriate boundaries and honesty are important in relationships."
Finally, Yang Se-chan and Lee Eun-ji said, "We hope Poison Apple season 2 does well and leads straight to season 3," while Yoon Tae-jin joked, "Personally, I want to learn flirting on Poison Apple and try it before the year ends." Heo Young-ji asked for support, saying, "Because I'm an overimmersive 'F,' I think I'll immerse myself well in this emotionally charged dating program. I hope Poison Apple receives lots of love and that you all cheer for us a lot."
The SBS Plus and Kstar jointly produced variety show Real Love Lab: Poison Apple season 2, which raises expectations with an even stronger Apple team and the fresh chemistry of five MCs, premieres Nov. 1 (Sat.) at 8 p.m.
<▲ Yang Se-chan Q&A interview>
A. Season 1 of Poison Apple was so fun that I wanted season 2 to come quickly, and I'm surprised a year has already passed. I think many people were looking forward to season 2, and I feel the same excitement and that it will be fun. I also expect it to be somehow stronger than season 1.
A. The chemistry was so good in season 1 that I'm not worried, and I think the chemistry with the newly joined MCs will be great too. We're all acquaintances so it'll be fun, and everyone gets very immersed, so the studio atmosphere will be more spirited.
A. In fact, the Apple team's antics are so effective that it would be strange not to fall for them; many tough guys must have had a hard time. The helpers did so well that the tough guys couldn't hold out.
A. Poison Apple's strength is that it's harsh, powerful and honest, and many couples' 'Will they really fall? No way, right?' moments are key viewing points. It's a hidden camera unlike anything else, so I hope many people enjoy it.
A. I hope Poison Apple season 2 receives lots of love and that the studio MCs' chemistry is so good we can make season 3 right away.

A. I'm truly happy and delighted to greet you with season 2! I expect Poison Apple 2 will be a healthy dopamine for viewers in their weary daily lives.
A. I think the chemistry with members we meet after a year will be upgraded, and I'm looking forward to the energy the new members bring.
A. The dedication of the fitness couple comes to mind! I remember when an Apple woman said, "That's not a weird~ thing!" and he firmly replied, "It is a weird thing." Also, Apple woman Park Geun-na's natural and unforced Apple antics were truly striking. Her seemingly effortless naturalness was appealing.
A. My views on dating haven't changed, but I thought appropriate boundaries and honesty are important in human relationships.
A. Our irresistibly charming Apple team! The MCs' chemistry! Honest, bold VCRs!
A. I hope Poison Apple season 2 does well and that we do Poison Apple season 3 next year.
<▲ Yoon Tae-jin Q&A interview>
A. For a long time I lived thinking I was a soccer player, and after resting a bit I really wanted to do programs, so I'm happy to join such a high-profile show. It's an honor to work with people I truly admire. I'll do my best.
A. Even when I watch TV alone I talk to myself a lot and have big reactions, so I'll broadcast honestly and without affectation.
A. Ninety-nine point nine percent — it's obvious people would wonder, "What is he doing?" and he'd fumble, so I think we'd see an "Apple antics: despair" episode. "This is acting and it's a job vs it's acting but I feel guilty" would fight wildly in his head, and he'd fail at both work and flirting and end with an "I kick my blanket" ending.
A. I don't know if this counts as flirting, but when I like someone I think I stare at them a lot. I'm not usually someone who pays a lot of attention to others, so I don't observe people much, but I keep looking like at a cute puppy. Rather than doing seductive acts, I try to make people laugh. For example, instead of heart-racing skinship or staying close, I'd rather do a "bag flirting" move.
A. Whenever season 2 of any content is produced, it has to be stronger than season 1. Dopamine helps with zest for life and motivation. Don't recharge your dopamine elsewhere; recharge it fully with Poison Apple season 2!
A. I want to hear how it feels to be part of season 3! Personally, I want to learn flirting on Poison Apple and try it before the year ends!
<▲ Heo Young-ji Q&A interview>
A. As a viewer I used to overimmerse while watching, so joining as an MC already makes me excited and I think it'll be fun.
A. Because I'm an overimmersive "F," I think I'll immerse myself well in a dating program full of intense emotions.
A. I want it to be 80%. (laughs)
A. I don't really know Apple antics, but wouldn't saying you don't know be an Apple antic?
A. I hope Poison Apple 2 receives lots of love again, and please cheer for and love all of us a lot. Thank you.<
