This is a review article written after watching the broadcast.
On the 28th season of I'm SOLO, Kwang-soo and Jeong-hee confirmed their feelings for each other.
On the 15th episode of the SBS Plus and ENA entertainment show I'm SOLO (hereinafter I'm SOLO), 28th season participants Kwang-soo and Jeong-hee were shown carrying out a mission.
That day, after returning from a second-choice date with Young-sook and Young-su, Kwang-soo asked Jeong-hee for a conversation. In response, Jeong-hee pretended to go get coffee and asked Young-sook in the kitchen, "I have something I'm curious about. Did I tell Kwang-soo about my feelings?"
On the way back to the lodging, Young-sook had announced that Jeong-hee's first choice was Kwang-soo. Flustered, she confessed, "Is that not allowed? I just said my first pick." Then Jeong-hee said, "Actually, what I hoped for was that Kwang-soo would express it to me without hearing it from someone else." Hearing this, Young-sook said, "I'm sorry. My heart suddenly hurt," and, crying in embarrassment, added, "I'm really sorry. What should I do. I really made a big mistake."
Jeong-hee also shed tears, and Young-sook said, "I've been wavering. My heart flutters for Kwang-soo, but I've been begging Young-su for his attention. Then Kwang-soo showed up and I felt so guilty," she complained. Jeong-hee comforted her, saying, "You just wanted to know. You don't have to feel guilty and apologize because of me."
Then Defconn interrupted, "Now pay attention! Go on your date. It's not good to stall for time here," while Song Hae-na took the opposite view, saying, "You can do it. You should talk about this so misunderstandings don't build up." In response, Lee Yi-kyung shouted, "I hate this kind of community."
Continuing, Young-sook said, "My heart really hurts. I'm so sorry to you, unni. When you said that, my heart just hurt and I felt sorry," and broke into tears. Jeong-hee comforted the crying Young-sook, saying, "I'm sorry if I made you cry."
Meanwhile, Jeong-hee spoke with the waiting Kwang-soo, but answered "I don't know" to every question, frustrating the MCs. So much so that Defconn said, "What's your concept? Kwang-soo must be annoyed too."
Then Jeong-hee pouted, "I've been waiting to do the mission; why didn't you tell me to do it?" Kwang-soo said, "Even yesterday and the day before, you were always not visible when I was there," and Jeong-hee replied, "I kept waiting."
During that time, the two had been looking for each other but kept missing one another. Kwang-soo asked, "Shall we do the mission now?" but Jeong-hee replied playfully, "No." Then Kwang-soo reached out first, and Jeong-hee finally seemed to soften and they walked together.
Further, holding Jeong-hee's hand, Kwang-soo said, "Then we have to do the second mission too," and added, "Darling, I'll even pick a star for you."
Later, in an interview Jeong-hee said, "It was good. I wanted to hold his hand," and added, "Does he like me? Young-ho is gone. Only Kwang-soo remains." Kwang-soo also declared his direct feelings, saying, "She said, 'I guess I was waiting alone.' At that moment I felt my heart skip a beat. In any case, my feelings seem to have narrowed down to only Jeong-hee."
The next day, Jeong-hee called Young-ho aside and rejected him, saying, "Young-ho, you don't need to worry about me anymore." Lee Yi-kyung admired, "Wow, two-second cut," Song Hae-na said, "She cut him off as soon as she arrived," and Defconn reacted, "It might be the most memorable scene in the history of the divorced-singles season."
In an interview, Young-ho candidly said, "She told me it's okay not to worry about her anymore, so naturally I became more comfortable. My feelings for Jeong-hee and for Ok-soon were slightly different. Jeong-hee felt very comfortable and fun, while Ok-soon made me feel some fluttering and nervousness; there was that difference."
