Broadcaster Jang Sung-kyu shared how he feels about leaving "Workman."
15th, a video featuring Jang Sung-kyu was posted on singer K.Will's YouTube channel. The video shows K.Will and Jang discussing Jang's exit from "Workman." When K.Will asked, "How many years did you do Workman?" Jang answered, "I did it for six years," and when K.Will asked if he was cut, Jang was seen replying, "Right, right."
Jang said, "I did it for that long, and although it started with Knowing Bros, it really took off with Workman. It's a program that gave me such a precious time, so while I'm very grateful, I also feel a big sense of regret. I'm going back and forth."
Earlier, in Jul., Jang talked with producer Ko Dong-wan, who planned the early "Workman," on his YouTube channel. At the time, Jang said, "The program that gave birth to me is 'Workman,' and Ko Dong-wan is my mother."
Having led "Workman" since 2019, Jang stepped down in May. He later said that the background to his departure from "Workman" included a notice from the production staff that he had to leave.
